Reports suggest that Serie A side Salernitana are interested in a deal to sign Chelsea striker Michy Batshuayi.
According to Di Marzio, the relegation candidate’s latest idea involves bringing the Belgian in, originally on loan.
The 28-year-old is not currently in Thomas Tuchel’s plans for the current season, with him not being handed a squad number before the campaign began.

This is despite him enjoying a fair amount of minutes in what turned out to be an underwhelming pre-season tour of the United States.
Batshuayi’s performance perhaps summarised the trip well, with him struggling to impress as an individual despite seemingly being handed a lifeline for his Blues career.
Now, Di Marzio claims that Chelsea are looking to loan him out with an obligation for the Serie A side to buy him, with him potentially set to feature alongside Bayern Munich legend Frank Ribery in the frontline.
Salemitana in for Batshuayi
It has been a tumultuous time for the Belgium international at Stamford Bridge, with him spending the majority of his spell on loan at various clubs with various levels of success.
He has recently come out and criticised former Chelsea boss Antonio Conte, with him claiming the Italian was not honest with him regarding his promised gametime.
This ended up with the start of a spell of loans away from the club, with him starring the most during his short spell of Borussia Dortmund.

While the solution is likely not to be Batshuayi, the Blues will be keen to sort out the mess that is their own striker situation.
The club are yet to find a goal from any of their three attackers this season, who have started every game together despite critics.
Fans will be hopeful the signing of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is made before their next game, with him hinting that his time at Barcelona is over.
