AC Milan really wants to sign Ruben Loftus-Cheek from Chelsea this summer, according to reports.
90min claims that AC Milan are keen to strike a deal for Ruben Loftus-Cheek, who’s in the batch of Chelsea players that could be sold because they’re in the final 18 months of their contract.
It is explained that the Italian giants have asked their defender Fikayo Tomori, 25, about signing Loftus-Cheek. Milan have turned to him because of his Chelsea connections and their time together at Stamford Bridge.
The report explains that Tomori has raved about Loftus-Cheek as he clearly thinks he’s a brilliant player.
90min adds that Serie A rivals Lazio and Napoli have joined Milan in the race to sign Loftus-Cheek. In addition, Premier League sides Crystal Palace, Fulham, Leicester City, Newcastle United, West Ham and Wolverhampton Wanderers are all keen.

Loftus-Cheek, who earns £120,000-a-week (Spotrac), will be out of contract at Stamford Bridge in the summer of 2024.
The 27-year-old midfielder is a useful player in the Chelsea squad right now, especially because of his versatility.
He’s made 28 first-team appearances across all competitions so far this season, but he’s far from a regular starter.
It’ll be interesting to see if heads out the exit doors after 19 years at the club.

The Evening Standard recently claimed that Chelsea would grant Loftus-Cheek’s sale at the end of the season.
We’ve seen flashes from the academy graduate over the years of his ability, but he’s never really kicked on to the heights most expected. In our view, injuries played a big part in that earlier on his career.
TalkSPORT pundit Darren Bent insists Chelsea should finally sell Loftus-Cheek this summer.
