Everton are reportedly weighing up a move for Chelsea forward Hakim Ziyech this month.
According to the Daily Mail, Frank Lampard is keen to reunite with the player he originally brought over to Stamford Bridge.
Lampard was in charge at Chelsea when Ziyech arrived at the club from Ajax for £33m in 2020.
It’s fair to say the pair’s careers have gone downhill from that moment.
Ziyech remains on the fringes of Graham Potter’s side, having also endured a back-up role under Thomas Tuchel as well.

He could well be heading to Goodison Park, where Lampard is in dire need of change to help Everton avoid relegation from the Premier League.
Will Lampard land Hakim Ziyech?
The former Chelsea coach has not won any of his last ten matches across all competitions and might be heading for the exit door before too long.
This terrible period included departures from both cup competitions and a rapid slide down the table into 19th.
A reunion with Ziyech is less likely to happen if Lampard cannot stop the rot immediately.

Adding a new attacker to a failing forward line could be the solution to his problems.
It would certainly be a signing supported by the coach, considering his relationship with the 29-year-old.
“Hakim Ziyech has worked really hard to be fit, and I was very excited to get his quality in the team,’ said Lampard a few years back.
Hopefully for Hakim and Lampard’s sake, this potential deal can shift their respective fortunes for the better.
