Chelsea have reportedly set the value for the sale of Jorginho to Arsenal.
According to The Athletic, the midfielder’s potential move to the Emirates will cost £12m.
This is some decrease in the original £50m figure that Chelsea forked out for the Italy international back in 2018.
But Jorginho is no longer the fresh faced 26-year-old who arrived at Stamford Bridge over half a decade ago.
Now 31-year and approaching the end of his contract, it appears the time has come for the European Championship winner to change direction.
Arsenal are apparently on the verge of signing the player from the London rival, as they look to bolster their midfield options.

Mikel Arteta has seemingly been a long-term admirer of Jorginho, having appreciated him since his days as Manchester City’s assistant coach.
Arteta is in need of midfield reinforcements heading into a pivotal part of the season for his side.
He is currently without Mohamed Elneny and, more importantly, Thomas Partey.
A big hole needs to be plugged, and the Gunners clearly believe Jorginho can cover the cracks.
Should the former Napoli man head across the capital, it will open up a space in the Chelsea squad for Enzo Fernandez.
Talks are still going on, yet it might go down to the last minute before a breakthrough occurs.
