Reports have claimed that Chelsea’s Hakim Ziyech has already spoken to players at PSG about joining them today.

According to Foot Mercato, all parties are hopeful that a deal is agreed today to see him at least move on loan this month.

The Moroccan has emerged as a real favourite to move on from Stamford Bridge today, after plenty of links away this month.

He may have been hoping that his strong World Cup performance, where his manager described him as ‘incredible’, would have made him a number one target for some clubs.

While interest has been there from the Premier League and beyond, nothing concrete had yet emerged.

Now though, PSG are very keen on striking a deal as they look for reinforcements to boost their second half of the season.

Foot Mercato have claimed the deal is very exciting for Ziyech, with him already in contact with a number of the club’s players.

While first team opportunities in the French capital seemingly tough to come by in the face of Lionel Messi, Kylian Mbappe and Neymar, the chances also look pretty bleak at Stamford Bridge.

The Blues have brought in Noni Madueke and Mykhailo Mudryk as wide options on long-term contracts, with the aim for them to be the future at the club.
