Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang may have already played his last ever game for Chelsea, according to reports.
Blues striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang still has another year on his deal at Stamford Bridge, but we may not see him on the pitch for the club again.
The Athletic claims it’s ‘highly likely’ that Aubameyang’s appearance against Arsenal earlier this month was his last for Chelsea.
It is explained that the 33-year-old forward is attracting interest from Barcelona and AC Milan despite a season to forget in West London.
He played just 45 minutes and was ineffective in the recent Premier League loss to Arsenal, which does highlight just how the 2022/23 season has gone for him as a whole. Apparently, we won’t see him in the final four matches of the campaign under caretaker boss Frank Lampard.

SPORT claimed last week that Aubameyang is in discussions to try rip up his Chelsea contract and leave the club a year early.
The centre-forward has scored three goals in 21 appearances across all competitions for Chelsea, spending a lot of time watching from the stands.
His £10million (Sky Sports) move to Chelsea last summer from Barcelona has been a disaster. Unfortunately, he’s been unable to recreate the kind of form he once showed in the Premier League with Arsenal.
Of course, Aubameyang should shoulder most of the blame for his individual displays when he’s featured this term. We do feel he should have been given more minutes on the pitch, though.

Aubameyang is joining the long list of high-profile forwards to flop in Chelsea colours.
The No 9 curse at the Bridge feels very real right now, so who will be the next brave individual to take it on?
It feels like the Blues won’t be at the top table again competing for the league until they fix this absolutely vital position on the pitch.
