Manchester United are reportedly using the relationship between Marcus Rashford and Jadon Sancho to gain the upper hand over Chelsea in pursuit of the Borussia Dortmund’s winger.
Rashford has recently spoken up on his social media about his desire to share play alongside Sancho.
Speaking on an Instagram Live, he said: “It obviously would be good, Sancho’s a great player, a new generation player. It’s definitely exciting to watch him become the player he’s becoming.
“Hopefully we can all play together that would be good.
“He plays off the cuff, he’s creative, imaginative. I think they’re the things you need to do to be world class.”
According to the Evening Standard, Rashford’s bluntness amid the transfer rumour is Manchester United’s plot to lure Sancho to Old Trafford.
The 20-year-old is Europe’s hottest and has stolen the attention from several top clubs, including Chelsea.
Sancho has netted 14 times and provided 15 assists from 23 appearances in Bundesliga this season, unbelievable numbers for someone who was a teenager just over a week ago.
A previous report from the same publication claimed Chelsea are ready to meet £120million Dortmund would want for the former Manchester City player.
Chelsea will likely make big investment this summer after summer transfer ban and inactive January transfer window.
The Blues have announced their first summer signing in February after Ajax’s Hakim Ziyech agreed to a five-year deal.
