Newcastle United are reportedly set to prioritise a deal to try sign Napoli’s Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, who’s been linked recently as a Chelsea target.
Cash-rich Newcastle, who sit third in the Premier League right now, certainly have lofty ambitions.
Kvaratskhelia looks like he could me a marquee signing for any of the top clubs in England.
The 21-year-old attacker has been in amazing form this season for Italian side Napoli, scoring eight goals and making 10 assists in 17 games across all competitions. In particular, he’s made a big impression in Champions League matches in 2022.

Newcastle to prioritise Khvicha Kvaratskhelia
According to The Times, Newcastle will prioritise a deal for Kvaratskhelia over the next two transfer windows.
It is explained that the Napoli left-winger is valued at around £50million, which would be a serious bargain if that valuation is true.
The report names Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain as two more potential buyers, too.

Chelsea speculation
GiveMeSport reported last month that Chelsea and Liverpool are in the race to sign Kvaratskhelia.
Described as “really quick” by Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp, Kvaratskhelia has to be one of the most exciting youngsters in European football right now.
His form in Napoli colours this year has been electric, so it’s no surprise big clubs are circling.
