Forgotten man Kenedy is not part of Chelsea’s plans under manager Thomas Tuchel, it’s been claimed.
According to the Daily Mail, the 26-year-old player is one of several players that Tuchel doesn’t consider in his plans at Stamford Bridge.
With Marc Cucurella and Ben Chilwell in the current Blues squad, there’s no room for Kenedy to play left wing-back for Chelsea.
He’s actually been on the books with the club since 2015, spending time out on loan at five different clubs during that time.
The Brazilian left-footer spent the second half of last season as part of Chelsea’s first-team squad, albeit he only made a few appearances.
He’s not been involved in a match day squad in the new 2022/23 campaign, though.

Kenedy not in Chelsea’s plans
It’s no major surprise to hear Kenedy doesn’t feature in the plans moving forward.
However, Tuchel did actually describe him as “very talented” back in February when he was working with him.
With two years still remaining on his contract in West London, Chelsea should be doing their best to try sell him.
It’s been reported this summer that Premier League rivals Leeds United are potential admirers in Kenedy, but there’s been no recent links regarding a potential exit.

There are certain areas of the pitch that do look overloaded with options, so it’s important there are some exits before the transfer window shuts on 1 September.
However, positions like striker and centre-back are areas that supporters are patiently waiting to see strengthened by some new arrivals.
