Thomas Tuchel has reportedly been in talks with Chelsea target Ousmane Dembele about a transfer to Stamford Bridge.
Dembele, 25, is an exciting attacker that’s available to sign this summer. His Barcelona contract officially expires at the end of June, so someone could snap the talent up on a free transfer.
According to Football.London, Chelsea have been in discussions about a deal for the France winger.
It is understood the Blues are confident of securing Dembele’s signature, albeit the player won’t make a decision until he returns from his current holiday.
The report adds Chelsea manager Tuchel has recently been in discussions with the 25-year-old about him making the move to West London. Apparently, the German coach has a “strong relationship” with him after working together at Borussia Dortmund several years ago. Therefore, it could give Chelsea an edge to sign soon-to-be free agent Dembele over rival suitors Paris Saint-Germain.

It sounds like Tuchel may be calling in a favour to try persuade Dembele to join his Chelsea squad.
Described as someone with “frightening” pace by Lionel Messi in 2020, Dembele is the kind of signing that could excite the Blues fanbase.
It’s previously been reported the French speedster would like the idea of playing at Stamford Bridge next season.
He’s shown moments of genius during 149 Barca appearances, scoring 32 goals and making 34 assists.
However, the Chelsea supporters are desperate for an attacker to join that can post some high numbers in the goal department.
