Ruben Amorim’s stance on Alejandro Garnacho has emerged as the Manchester United winger continues to be linked with a move to Chelsea.

Chelsea are interested in signing Alejandro Garnacho from Manchester United before next Monday’s transfer deadline.

It has been claimed that Garnacho is more likely to leave United than stay there, with the 20-year-old also attracting interest from Napoli.

However, while the Red Devils seem open to selling Garnacho because of PSR, Ruben Amorim does not appear to be on the same page as his bosses.

Ruben Amorim wants Alejandro Garnacho to stay at Manchester United

Garnacho, who started in United’s 1-0 win against Fulham last Sunday, is a player Amorim seems reluctant to let go.

According to TEAMtalk, the Portuguese manager would love to keep Garnacho in his squad.

That decision may be taken out of his hand, though, especially if a big offer does arrive from Chelsea. The same outlet claims that the Blues are yet to decide whether they are going to submit a bid for him or not.

Chelsea have been linked with other wingers, though one reported target, Karim Adeyemi, does not want to leave Borussia Dortmund this month.

The price Chelsea need to pay to sign Alejandro Garnacho

Garnacho will not come cheap for Chelsea or Napoli, with United slapping a big price tag on him.

TEAMtalk’s report states that the Red Devils want £60m for the Argentina international and if no one is willing to pay that, then he will remain at Old Trafford for the rest of the season.

In the current Premier League campaign, Garnacho has scored three goals and provided one assist. Last term, he managed seven and four respectively.

Some Chelsea fans will feel that Garnacho’s valuation is too high. But spending money has not been a problem for Todd Boehly and the rest of Chelsea’s current ownership.

If the club really want Garnacho before the transfer market closes, there is a good chance of them landing him.
