Brighton are now upset with the representatives of Chelsea target Moises Caicedo following their behaviour in recent days.
That is according to Rahman Osman of London World.
So, what is the latest on Moises Caicedo and Chelsea? Let’s take a look…
What’s the story?
Well, the Ecuador international sat out Brighton’s 1-1 draw against Rayo Vallecano on Sunday.
The Seagulls insisted on their official website that Caicedo was suffering from a hamstring injury, although many other sources – including the reliable Fabrizio Romano – believed it was transfer related.
Interestingly, the Italian journalist mentioned that the South American missed Brighton’s friendly against the Spanish side after sending a clear message to Brighton – sell me to Chelsea.

Caicedo’s representatives are clearly trying to take matters into their own hands as they look to get their client his desired move to Stamford Bridge, which has not gone down well with those at the Amex Stadium.
Osman wrote on Twitter: “Slight Moises Caicedo update being that sources say club is marginally disappointed with the way the midfielder’s representatives have handled the last few days. They however will not rule out a sale but only if the fee meets their valuation.”
Caicedo to Chelsea set for new chapter soon
So far this summer, Chelsea have seen four bids rejected for the 21-year-old.
David Ornstein of The Athletic revealed on YouTube that the Blues have seen offers worth £60m, £65m, £70m and also £80m rejected for Caicedo.
Now – according to El Universo – Chelsea are preparing another bid for the Brighton No.25 after unexpectedly receiving around £18m from Tino Livramento’s move to Newcastle, thanks to a sell-on clause.

Chelsea’s next bid for Caicedo is expected to be worth around £90m – which is still £10m short of Brighton’s £100m asking price.
Be sure to keep an eye on this situation, as further developments are expected in the coming days.
