Todd Boehly has certainly not been shy to spend big since he took over as Chelsea owner less than a year ago.

There were some fears that the lavish expenditure would come to an end when Roman Abramovich’s spell at the club was forced to come to an end. However, the American has instantly put those worries to bed.

His second rebuild window in a season took place last month, with him even breaking the club’s transfer record to bring in Enzo Fernandez from Benfica.

He complimented the additions of Joao Felix, Noni Madueke, Mykhailo Mudryk and Benoit Badiashile for big money, as well as the savvy investment of Andrey Santos.

Reports recently have suggested that he isn’t done there either.

There is a reported desire already to make Felix a permanent addition, with him only currently being on loan from Atletico Madrid.

The game against West Ham at the weekend saw the Portugal international open his account for the club, notably impressing the owner in the process.

There has still been plenty of talk over the fact that they have not yet signed that world-class striker, despite a plethora of additions in the attacking areas.

It has been claimed that there may be an effort to address this in the summer, with Chelsea being one of the big clubs linked to the signing of Victor Osimhen.

The Napoli man has been in sensational form this season, as his side look set to breeze their way to the Serie A title.

Despite the addition of Fernandez, there are still rumours that they wish to add another quality player in midfield too.
