Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly been in touch with the representatives of Chelsea defender Trevoh Chalobah.
Trevoh Chalobah has been heavily linked with a move to AS Roma, but a report from TEAMtalk has claimed that Tottenham have now contacted the 24-year-old’s representatives about a move to north London.
He has not played this season because of injury. However, had he been fit, there is a good chance that Mauricio Pochettino would have still overlooked him.
The Argentine has Thiago Silva, Axel Disasi, Benoit Badiashile and Levi Colwill who can all play at centre-back.

Chelsea fans will not be happy
Chelsea supporters would obviously be quite annoyed to see another homegrown product leave the club and for a London rival.
At the same time, though, there may be some understanding. Again, Pochettino has a lot of players who can slot in in central defence.
Chalobah is unlikely to get much game time when he returns from injury, so a move does make sense.
It is a bit disappointing and hopefully the former England U21 international does not join Tottenham and moves to another Premier League club instead. But if he does decide to head to north London, you cannot really blame him.
Whatever happens, Chalobah has had some good moments at Stamford Bridge, helping Chelsea to win both the Club World Cup and UEFA Super Cup under Thomas Tuchel.
It would be great if he stayed at the club, but Pochettino can only start two centre-backs in his current system, leaving Chalobah in an unfavourable position.
