Fabrizio Romano has claimed that Callum Hudson-Odoi is about to speak to his agents about leaving Chelsea this summer.

He told GiveMeSport that the Blues are very open to letting him leave, with clubs from Saudi Arabia peaking their interest.

Last season was supposed to see Hudson-Odoi enjoy a successful spell on loan in order to set him up in a better position to thrive at Chelsea.

However, this did not happen at Bayer Leverkusen. He was completely out of the side in the final weeks of the season under Xabi Alonso.

The 22-year-old failed to establish himself as a first team option in the Bundesliga, whilst also flattering to deceive in the group stages of the Champions League.

This therefore leaves his future at Stamford Bridge up in the air, with it unlikely he is in new manager Mauricio Pochettino’s plans going into next season.

Hudson-Odoi to speak to agents

Now, Romano has claimed the Blues are willing to listen to offers from Saudi Arabia for his services in the next few days.

He said: “Two clubs from Saudi Arabia are interested, and now it’s up to the player.

“Chelsea are very open to discussing an exit to Saudi Arabia, but he is a player who will speak to his agents and decide in the next days.”

The Blues are currently engaging in talks to ship off a number of squad players, with them receiving lucrative offers to take their talents to play alongside Cristiano Ronaldo and co.

They are set to receive decent transfer fees for the likes of Kalidou Koulibaly, Hakim Ziyech and Edouard Mendy.

However, N’golo Kante, arguably the biggest name arrival to the country this summer, is going to leave for free as his contract expires in a few days’ time.
