Journalist Alex Crook has claimed Chelsea may make a move to sign Aston Villa goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez this summer.
He told TalkSPORT that the Blues may be tempted off the back of interest in his services from new manager Mauricio Pochettino.
It has been a big two years or so for Martinez, who for the majority of his career has been either a deputy for featuring for sides in the lower leagues.

Since then though, he has become one of the best goalkeepers in the league, and has added the World Cup to his resume with Argentina.
He won the competition alongside Enzo Fernandez, with the duo being names both the goalkeeper and young player of the tournament.
Praise has not been short to come by domestically either, with Tim Sherwood recently describing him as a ‘superstar’.
Pochettino wants Martinez
Crook has now claimed that Chelsea may be set to make a move for the goalkeeper this summer.
He said: “Mauricio Pochettino is a big admirer of Aston Villa and Argentina goalkeeper Emiliano Martínez, but it would be an expensive deal to do for Chelsea — watch this space.”
It had previously been claimed that Pochettino was keen to work with Kepa Arrizabalaga, after the club made the decision to sell Edouard Mendy to Saudi Arabia.

This would likely not be a popular decision amongst the fanbase, with many believing a new goalkeeper is a crucial piece of business this summer.
They have been linked to a number of options abroad too, with Andre Onana and Mike Maignan leading the way.
In fact, it has been claimed today that the Blues have been discussing internally the prospect of bringing the AC Milan goalkeeper in this summer over the last two weeks.
