Fabrizio Romano has claimed on his YouTube channel that there are still no intentions for Chelsea to end Romelu Lukaku’s loan early.
The Belgian is currently in his second spell with Inter Milan after pushing for a way out of Stamford Bridge over the summer.
However, things have not gone so well for the striker since his return to Italy.

He has made just three Serie A appearances this season, scoring only once for the Nerazzurri ahead of this winter’s World Cup.
There have been reports that Inter have also been disappointed with the condition they have found him in since he joined. He has hardly been performing to the player of the season level that he was in his last Serie A effort.
Lukaku not set for early return
There have been rumours that Graham Potter is considering a future where he has Lukaku at his disposal, with him willing to offer everyone at the club an opportunity.
With the poor form, it could be put together that the club may want to end the striker’s loan spell early.
However, Romano has claimed that any rumours of a return to Stamford Bridge are far from the truth.
He said: “Rumours on Romelu Lukaku loan deal to be terminated in January are 100% wide of mark.”

Potter is still trying to find the best solution to Chelsea’s striker woes, with Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang currently leading the way in terms of form.
However, his age certainly doesn’t make him a long-term option.
Reports have claimed that the Blues are in the final stages of agreeing a deal to sign Christopher Nkunku from RB Leipzig.
With his goalscoring prowess over the last few seasons, he is set to be the answer the the club’s striking woes, making it difficult to see how Lukaku fits back in to the setup.
