The future of Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall is certainly an interesting talking point at Chelsea this summer.
Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, 26, has picked up two trophies during his debut season at Chelsea, winning both the Club World Cup and Conference League.
However, the English midfielder has struggled for minutes across the board, competing with some top-class teammates.
| Competition | Appearances | Goals | Assists | Minutes played |
| Conference League | 13 | 4 | 3 | 1024 |
| Premier League | 13 | 0 | 1 | 258 |
| Club World Cup | 5 | 1 | 0 | 149 |
| Conference League qualifiers | 2 | 0 | 0 | 180 |
| Carabao Cup | 2 | 0 | 0 | 147 |
| FA Cup | 1 | 0 | 0 | 58 |
Even though Chelsea will listen to offers for Dewsbury-Hall this summer, they have not directly put him up for sale. The reality is that he’s been quite a useful squad option for Enzo Maresca, but is he satisfied playing that role as he enters the prime years of his career?

Chelsea want their money back for Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall
According to The Sun, Chelsea would want £30m to sell Dewsbury-Hall, which is the exact figure they paid to sign him from Leicester City a year ago.
The report claims that Premier League duo West Ham and Everton looked at loan moves with an obligation to buy the box-to-box midfielder in January.
Apparently, they might try again to sign Dewsbury-Hall if the asking price drops because it’s currently putting them off.
Fulham are contemplating moving for Dewsbury-Hall following long-standing interest, so let’s wait and see if the likes of West Ham or Everton join them in chasing the talented central midfielder.

Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall deserves so much credit
The reality is that Chelsea need a large and competitive squad, which means that certain individuals will struggle for minutes at a time. However, those fringe players can be so influential in the dressing room.
Pedro Neto hailed Dewsbury-Hall last season, claiming his Chelsea teammate took his chance whenever he played.
The former Leicester midfielder has the impossible task of getting into a midfield that includes the likes of Enzo Fernandez, Moises Caicedo and Cole Palmer. From the outside looking in, it seems like he doesn’t sulk and is the perfect professional waiting in the wings.
We could only wish Dewsbury-Hall the best of luck if he does leave this summer to join a Premier League rival, where he would most likely become a star performer. If he sticks around for a second season at Chelsea, it will be positive news as well.
