Cole Palmer’s future has been cast into doubt recently due to rumours that he’s unhappy at Chelsea.
Chelsea have had to make do without Cole Palmer for parts of this season due to injury and fitness issues.
Palmer has even been tipped to quit Chelsea for Manchester City if Enzo Maresca ends up succeeding Pep Guardiola at some stage.
However, it’s Man United that have appeared out of nowhere in recent days due to the claims that Palmer wants to move back up north.
But Liam Rosenior has put it all to bed in his press conference ahead of Chelsea’s clash with Crystal Palace this weekend.
No wins against Palace since Mauricio Pochettino was in charge…
Cole Palmer is 100% committed to Chelsea
It has come out of the press conference that Cole Palmer missed Chelsea’s clash with Pafos due to a small strain, but is fit to face Crystal Palace.
However, that wasn’t the most important point.
Rosenior directly addressed the Palmer exit rumours, stating that he’s fully commited at Chelsea.
“I’ve had numerous conversations with Cole and he seems very, very happy to be here. He is very happy to be here. He’s a huge part of our plans for the long term.”
Cole Palmer’s feelings at Chelsea made clear 🗣️
Thoughts?
A big boost for Chelsea, with the speculation hopefully being put behind him so he can focus on getting back to his best for the Blues.
