Right now, despite having such a big squad, Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca is not struggling to keep all of his players happy.
Enzo Maresca has been able to give Chelsea‘s fringe players minutes in the Conference League, and they seem to be enjoying the competition so far.
The Blues recently beat Noah 8-0, with Christopher Nkunku and Joao Felix both grabbing braces on the evening.
However, it is unlikely that someone such as Nkunku, for example, will remain content with his current role forever. It has already been claimed that Nkunku’s agents have been in contact with other clubs.

Christopher Nkunku set to stay at Chelsea
For the time being, it does not look like Nkunku will be going anywhere despite his lack of opportunities in the Premier League this season.
According to journalist Florian Plettenberg, the 26-year-old is not thinking about departing Stamford Bridge in January.
Plettenberg wrote on X: “Christopher Nkunku is currently not planning a transfer this winter. However, the 26y/o’s situation at CFC is challenging. He is in top form and highly motivated, but despite scoring 10 goals in competitive matches this season, the French striker is not a regular starter.”
Chelsea youngster Tyrique George was another player who started in the thrashing of Noah. George thoroughly enjoyed playing alongside Nkunku on Thursday.
Will Christopher Nkunku start against Arsenal?
Again, Nkunku scored two goals during the week and is actually Chelsea’s top scorer in all competitions this season.
After his performance against Noah, the Frenchman will be hoping to start in the massive London derby versus Arsenal.

However, a hat-trick against Barrow in the third round of the Carabao Cup was not enough for Nkunku to retain his place for Chelsea’s following Premier League game.
Therefore, the likelihood is that Maresca sticks with Nicolas Jackson, which will disappoint Nkunku. Jackson was recently included in a combined Chelsea-Arsenal XI made by John Obi Mikel after his strong start to the season.
In total, Jackson has scored six goals and provided three assists in 10 Premier League appearances. That form is currently keeping Chelsea’s £52m France international out of Maresca’s starting XI.
It is a long season, though. If that form starts to dip, then there is no reason why Nkunku cannot come into the side.
