Real Madrid do have the option to buy goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga from Chelsea.
That is according to a report from Cope.
It claims that Real Madrid have the option to sign Kepa Arrizabalaga permanently, with the 29-year-old currently on loan at the club.
The Spanish giants signed him from Chelsea during the summer after Thibaut Courtois picked up a serious injury that has ruled him out of action until next year.
Kepa has already made it clear that he wants to remain at the Santiago Bernabeu rather than return to Stamford Bridge. “I still hope to stay,” he was quoted as saying by the Daily Mail last month.

Even if Real Madrid do not sign Kepa permanently, we still expect the Spaniard to leave Chelsea next year.
It is clear that he does not want to be at the club any more, while they have already replaced him.
The Blues, of course, signed Robert Sanchez from Brighton & Hove Albion in the last transfer window and are now being linked with a move for Arsenal’s Aaron Ramsdale. Sign him, and Kepa’s Chelsea career will definitely be over, if it is not already.
Honestly, it is hard to see how a permanent move to Real Madrid makes much sense for Kepa. As soon as Courtois returns from injury, the Spain international is going to find himself on the bench.
If he wants game time, then he would be better off joining another team. But if the former Athletic Bilbao man is more concerned about playing for a prestigious club and winning silverware, then staying at the Santiago Bernabeu becomes a no-brainer.
Whatever the case, Kepa looks set to leave Chelsea for good. It would be a shock if the club decided to keep hold of him, especially if they do go on to sign Ramsdale.
