Despite the international break, Chelsea are already preparing for what is likely to be one of the biggest tests they will face in the Premier League this season.

Arsenal, who sit joint top following their victory over Manchester City, are the next visitors to Stamford Bridge to challenge the Blues’ promising form.

They are currently on a run of three wins in a row in all competitions, and the mood is beginning to change around the prospects at Stamford Bridge.

Mauricio Pochettino will already have more than an eye on this fixture, and be making decisions about who he thinks should feature for the Blues.

Despite the trio of wins, he will likely still be looking to the treatment table in the hope that one player in particular is ready to feature.

James must start vs Arsenal

Club captain Reece James has been missing since the first game of the season, and despite the deputies performing well is very difficult to replace.

Obviously known for his attacking capabilities, he could be a crucial cog in the defensive machine when looking at the opponents.

Gabriel Martinelli is back in form after his winning goal in the huge match at the Emirates last weekend, with him being one of the best wingers in the league when on form.

He has previously been described as ‘frightening’ by Micah Richards, and many Chelsea fans would fear for what is coming if James is not fit.

Marc Cucurella has been playing in the role in recent weeks, and while he has looked good at times showed his weaknesses against Burnley at the weekend.

It is not difficult to imagine him having a tough time against Martinelli if that situation arises.
