Conor Gallagher is one of the players that Mauricio Pochettino thinks could be instrumental under him at Chelsea, according to reports.
The Evening Standard claims that there’s several academy graduates at Chelsea that Mauricio Pochettino may use heavily when he takes charge as the club’s manager next season.
It is understood that Conor Gallagher is one Blues individual that could thrive under the 51-year-old Argentine coach. Reece James, Mason Mount and Levi Colwill have been identified by Pochettino, too.
The report adds that Gallagher, who’s a talented 23-year-old midfielder, wants to stay at Chelsea working under a manager that trusts him.

Gallagher has stepped into the first-team environment at Chelsea this season, making 42 appearances across all competitions.
The England international has made a decent impact in the Blues side and has risen his way through the age ranks at the academy. However, some many be disappointed he’s not done more because he was outstanding during last year’s loan spell at Crystal Palace.
If rumours are true, Gallagher should be reenergised that he could be important under Pochettino
We can definitely imagine his energy and tenacity fitting the hallmark of Pochettino’s managerial style.

Journalist Dean Jones previously told GiveMeSport in April that Chelsea would ask for around £50million to grant Gallagher’s sale this summer.
The Telegraph claimed last week that Newcastle are still considering make a move for Gallagher in the upcoming transfer window.
Let’s wait and see what kind of role Pochettino has in the player’s future.
