Journalist Liam Twomey has claimed that large sections of the Arsenal supporters did their best to get under the skin of Chelsea fans at the Emirates last night.
He revealed on Twitter there was a rousing chorus of ‘Super Frankie Lampard’ from the home faithful in gest of the bad form the Blues find themselves in.
It has now been six consecutive losses since Lampard took interim charge of the club, with him still expected to be in place to see out the rest of the season.
Last night threatened to get out of hand quickly against their London rivals, as Chelsea found themselves 3-0 down before the first 45 had even been played.
A slightly more spirited second half stopped the situation spiralling any further, with the game finishing 3-1 to the league leaders.

The season has been a thoroughly enjoyable one for Gooners so far, and they made sure to remind the opposing fans last night with a number of sarcastic chants.
While this is to be expected, some of the conduct from certain individuals will have disappointed the club.
A green laser pen was frequently shined at Blues sub Mykhailo Mudryk after he came on the pitch to a flurry of boos, following his decision to move to West London instead of Arsenal.
This dampened the mood for the hosts slightly, with an arrest already reportedly being made for the individual who was responsible.
Chelsea fans will now just be waiting for the new manager to be announced before looking to get any optimism back amongst them for the future.
It is currently reported that Mauricio Pochettino is the favourite for the job, with negotiations remaining at an advanced stage for quite a while now.
