Chelsea should already be really worried about what is happening to their £51m player

Chelsea have spent some big money in recent transfer windows trying to solve the puzzle of building a squad ready to compete at the top of the English and European game again.

This summer saw them spend big, particularly on attackers as they looked to create the perfect squad for Enzo Maresca.

Pedro Neto, Joao Felix and Jadon Sancho all joined the club, with it seeming like they are looking to have a team who can matchup well against any opposition.

They also invested big money into their future, with Estevao Willian being signed with the intention of joining next summer for a fee of around £51m.

Estevao is set for minutes as soon as next season, however there will no doubt be concerns over recent reports regarding the teenager.

According to Nosso Palestra, the winger has picked up another muscle injury, with it not being the first time this season that he has been set for a prolonged spell on the sidelines.

Chelsea should be worried about Estevao Willian’s injuries

Per The Secret Scout, Estevao has played more than 3000 minutes at the age of just 17, which is an insane amount of gametime for someone that age.

It is a showcase of just how important Estevao is for his club, with it looking like he is headed towards being at that level for his country too.

Estevao wants to play Number 10 for Chelsea

The youngster made his debut for the Brazil senior team during the recent international break, and is already being tipped for big things at that level.

This is the case for what is expected of him at Chelsea too, and he could even be rivalling Cole Palmer for the Number 10 role in the squad.

However, there will no doubt be worries about an overload at a young age, and a hope that he does not become an injury-prone player due to the demands being put on him.
