Chelsea agreed a deal with Palmeiras over the summer for Estevao Willian, who will move to Stamford Bridge in 2025 when he turns 18.
The initial fee Chelsea are believed to have paid for Estevao Willian‘s signature is £29m. However, by the time the winger eventually arrives in west London, it looks like Palmeiras would have pocketed even more money from his sale.
Estevao is really impressing in Brazil right now, scoring nine goals and providing seven assists in just 22 league appearances.
Estevao recently equalled a record set by Neymar, showing just how gifted the 17-year-old is.

Estevao Willian already triggering add-ons at Palmeiras
As a lot of deals do, Chelsea’s one for Estevao contains a bunch of add-ons. And according to Fabrizio Romano, despite the Brazilian having not kicked a ball for the Blues yet, he is already starting to activate some of them.
Speaking on his YouTube channel, the transfer expert said: “He keeps scoring goals, providing assists for Palmeiras.
“This is very good news for Chelsea for the future but also for Palmeiras because they’re performing very well but also they’re making money because part of the add-ons in the contract of Willian Estevao are also for the performances of Willian Estevao this season at Palmeiras before joining Chelsea in 2025. So every goal, every assist is also money for Palmeiras.”
Former Chelsea player Angelo Gabriel lauded Estevao after he made his Brazil debut over the international break.
Estevao Willian could be worth every penny
Who knows how much money Chelsea will end up paying Palmeiras for Estevao? But whether it is £40m, £50m or £55m, at this rate, it is going to look like a bargain.
Right now, Estevao is coming across as a generational talent. In fact, some in the game think Estevao is generational.
He is going to arrive at Chelsea as a very young player, but you would fully expect him to go straight into Enzo Maresca‘s first-team squad.
Still being a teenager and having not played in Europe yet, it may be a while before Chelsea fans get to see what Estevao has been doing at Palmeiras this season. But if he can transfer that form over to west London, then the Stamford Bridge faithful are going to be in for a real treat.
The same cannot be said about Premier League defenders, though. He could end up becoming a winger that no full-back in England wants to play against.
