Chelsea are off to a great start to life under new manager Enzo Maresca despite their exit from the Carabao Cup last night.
The boss has put a lot of faith in his fringe players in cup competitions, however some individually poor performances let him down against Newcastle at St. James’ Park.
Chelsea fans called for Axel Disasi to be sold after his nightmare performance at the back, with him putting the ball in his own net in the first half.

The Italian is yet to lose two games in a row since taking over at Stamford Bridge, however the pressure is now on to keep up their strong start to life in the Premier League.
Enzo Maresca has point to prove against Ruben Amorim
Chelsea will have been confident of a win at Old Trafford this weekend as they lined up to face an out-of-sorts Manchester United.
However, the Blues’ trip to Old Trafford got a lot harder after the sacking of Erik ten Hag, with the Red Devils hoping to turn their fortunes around.
It is reportedly expected that Ruben Amorim will be in the dugout for the Chelsea game, despite Ruud van Nistelrooy taking charge of their Carabao Cup win last night.
Amorim was linked to the Chelsea job before Maresca
Chelsea fans will be familiar with Amorim after he was heavily linked with the job at Stamford Bridge on a number of occasions.
The Blues decided that Maresca was the man for their project, but now he has a point to prove that the club made the right decision instead of looking to hire Amorim.
Of course, one game does not determine if the right decision was made by the higher ups at Chelsea, however it would be a real statement that he is the man for the job if he can return to winning ways away from home in the Premier League on Sunday.
