With not too long to go until the transfer window closes, Joao Felix and Christopher Nkunku continue to be linked with moves away from Chelsea.
Joao Felix is attracting interest from Aston Villa, who could also sign Axel Disasi from Chelsea before next Monday’s deadline.
As for Felix‘s other teammate, Manchester United and Bayern Munich are both keen on Nkunku.
It would be a surprise if Chelsea let both men go, though. With that in mind, which attacker should the Blues be looking to keep?

Joao Felix and Christopher Nkunku’s seasons compared
Felix and Nkunku have not racked up too many minutes in the Premier League this term, so it is a bit difficult to compare them right now.
That being said, there are some stats that indicate that one player has been slightly more of an attacking threat than the other.
Nkunku has scored one more goal than Felix in the top flight, but he has played almost an hour more of football. The 27-year-old has, of course, mostly been used as a striker as well, usually coming on in matches for Nicolas Jackson.
Despite that, Felix is actually averaging more shots per game than Nkunku. He is also being fouled more, showing that defenders are finding it way more difficult to deal with him compared to Nkunku. In fact, only Cole Palmer is actually being fouled more frequently than the Portuguese in Chelsea’s squad.
| Player | Appearances | Starts | Minutes | Goals | Assists | Shots | Dribbles | Fouled |
| Joao Felix | 12 | 3 | 364 | 1 | 1 | 1.7 | 0.8 | 1.4 |
| Christopher Nkunku | 19 | 3 | 420 | 2 | 1 | 0.8 | 0.3 | 0.3 |
It was recently claimed that Enzo Maresca is not a fan of Felix, but there are certainly things to like about him. The same goes for Nkunku; everyone saw what he is capable of at RB Leipzig.

Chelsea should keep hold of Joao Felix
All in all, if Maresca decides that he does not want both Felix and Nkunku to leave during this transfer window, then Felix should be retained.
Not only has the Portugal international brought more of a threat to Chelsea’s attack this season, but his injury record is obviously much better than Nkunku’s.
As well as that, Felix is a couple of years younger than the former Leipzig star. And as Chelsea supporters have seen with Kai Havertz and Timo Werner, proficiency in the Bundesliga does not always translate over to the Premier League.
