Chelsea manager Mauricio Pochettino will have been incredibly proud of the performance of all of his players in yesterday’s pulsating draw against Manchester City.
Those who started matched the treble winners blow for blow, stopping them in their tracks as they held them to a 4-4 draw.
Some of his best performers of the season stepped up yet again against the champions. Cole Palmer and Raheem Sterling in particular enjoyed stellar showings against their former side.

The former had the last laugh of anyone on the pitch yesterday, when he converted from the spot in added time for the fourth time this season.
The spot kick was won by Armando Broja, who was brought on after City made it 4-3 in a desperate attempt to rescue what would be a deserved point.
His silky footwork in the penalty area saw him brought down by Ruben Dias, with the 22-year-old far too quick on the ball for his opponent.
The Albanian international was making his first appearance yesterday since suffering a setback in his return to the club.
Pochettino should give Broja a chance
It had been the best part of eight months Chelsea fans had been waiting to see the striker return, and he had marked his first start with a goal against Fulham.
If Pochettino is to give him a chance again after the international break, It is likely to come at the expense of a player who has just scored four goals in two games against Tottenham and Manchester City.
Nicolas Jackson has been finding the net recently, however it has been fair to say that his performances have still left some questions regarding his quality.
While it would feel harsh to drop him at this stage, it feels like there is no harm in giving Broja a chance to feature now Cole Palmer is a regular creative force.
