Chelsea came back from 1-0 down to beat Fulham 2-1 at Craven Cottage on Sunday.
It is a win that is likely to benefit the likes of Tyrique George and Pedro Neto, who scored Chelsea‘s two goals in the London derby.
Since then, George has been hailed as an “amazing player” by teammate Levi Colwill.
At the same time, though, there could be some ramifications for others following that game. With that in mind, The Chelsea Chronicle has taken a look at the three winners and three losers from the Blues’ victory over Fulham.
Winners
Tyrique George

The biggest winner from Chelsea’s west London derby triumph is probably George. The winger proved that he can make a real impact for the team despite still being just 19 years of age.
George will now be hoping that he can make his first Premier League start of the season on Saturday when Chelsea take on Everton at Stamford Bridge.

Enzo Maresca

Enzo Maresca introduced George to the game in the second half so deserves some credit for Chelsea’s turnaround.
Last month, Maresca was criticised by Chelsea fans for making his substitutions too late during one game. However, that was not the case at Craven Cottage, while the majority of his subs were able to make an impact.
It is a good look for the Italian at a time where a lot of people are on his back.
Josh Acheampong

Josh Acheampong was an unused sub at Craven Cottage, but he could be in line to receive more game time going forward.
Malo Gusto picked up an injury in Sunday’s derby, and it looks like a pretty bad one. When Maresca was asked about Gusto’s injury, he said: “Not a good one. A muscular problem. Unfortunately it looks like a muscular injury.”
With the Chelsea manager a fan of Reece James playing in midfield, there could be a real opportunity for Acheampong to start at right-back now.
Losers
Reece James

While Maresca does like playing James in midfield, the 25-year-old started at right-back against Fulham.
James did not have the best game there, though, being dispossessed before Fulham’s opener. He was taken off at half-time and his manager may now have doubts about playing him in defence.
Noni Madueke

Like James, Noni Madueke was sacrificed at half-time. Jadon Sancho came on to replace him, but Neto moved to the right, while the Englishman took up the spot on the left.
Maresca thinks Neto’s best position is on the right, so it would not be a surprise to see him replace his £29m teammate there after his excellent strike.
Christopher Nkunku

The final loser is Christopher Nkunku without even playing. Maresca left Nkunku out of his matchday squad, confirming that it was a “technical decision”.
Following the Frenchman’s omission, his Chelsea career looks pretty much over.
