Enzo Fernandez returned to the Chelsea side last night in their win against Blackburn Rovers.
Some Chelsea fans were all saying the same thing about the 22-year-old midfielder after his performance, too.
The Blues swept aside Championship club Blackburn on Wednesday night by beating them 2-0 at Stamford Bridge in the Carabao Cup. Benoit Badiashile and Raheem Sterling both scored.
Next, Mauricio Pochettino’s side will host Newcastle United in next month’s quarter-finals.

Enzo Fernandez returns
Enzo Fernandez may have only missed one game, the 2-0 Premier League defeat to Brentford on Saturday, but it was a welcomed sight to have him back this week.
Speaking via TNT Sports at the weekend, Pochettino confirmed Fernandez missed the Brentford game with a “small muscle injury”.
Thankfully, the Argentine star didn’t suffer anything serious and completed 87 minutes in yesterday’s cup win. In fairness, the small rest may have done him good due to the sheer volume of football he’s played in the last year.
Fernandez glided across the pitch and looked a class above at times against Championship opposition.
We noticed the central midfielder enjoy real success when dropping into deeper pockets to dictate possession and show off his passing range.
We’re delighted to have him back fit ahead of Monday night’s trip to league leaders Tottenham.
There’s other areas within the squad that needs finetuning by the manager, but Chelsea’s options in the centre of the park look pretty stacked right now. We’ve got the likes of Fernandez, Conor Gallagher, Moises Caiciedo and Lesley Ugochukwu playing well this season.
Chelsea fans in agreement
A selection of Chelsea fans on social media were all left signing Fernandez’s praises after his cup masterclass.
There’s a general feeling within the fanbase that the South American star is absolutely vital to Pochettino’s line-up. We certainly wouldn’t argue with that!
