There were not too many impressive performances in Chelsea’s 0-0 draw with Everton earlier.
Former Chelsea defender Jason Cundy thought Pedro Neto was good, but it was a game to forget for most Blues players.
Defensively, Enzo Maresca would have been pleased with his side, who managed to keep their fourth clean sheet of the season.
After the game, the Chelsea manager spoke about the impact goalkeeper Robert Sanchez managed to make during the 90 minutes.

Enzo Maresca happy with Robert Sanchez
Sanchez has been criticised at times this season after making some costly mistakes in goal.
Former Premier League midfielder Jamie O’Hara has really not held back when discussing Sanchez, describing him as “terrible”.
However, Maresca was impressed with his performance at Goodison Park and told reporters that he is “happy” with him right now.
Speaking to football.london and the rest of the English media after the match, the 44-year-old said: “I think Robert did one save first-half and then the second-half he did one more. We are happy with Robert, for sure. He is there to help us when we need him.”
Chelsea signed Sanchez from Brighton & Hove Albion in the summer of 2023. According to Spotrac, the 27-year-old earns £60,000 a week at Stamford Bridge.
Robert Sanchez’s numbers vs Everton
Without Sanchez, Chelsea could have left Goodison Park without a single point.
The Spaniard finished the game with four saves, including one from inside the box. Sanchez has made mistakes this season, but he has also come up with some big stops for Maresca’s side.

Chelsea have been linked with Borussia Dortmund’s Gregor Kobel. But if Sanchez can eradicate the errors he has been making from his game, then the Blues will not need to think about signing a new No.1.
The Spain international is a really good shot-stopper and showed that once again with his performance against Everton.
Next up for Sanchez and Chelsea is a west London derby against Fulham on Boxing Day. Chelsea fans will be hoping for a more exciting fixture than the one they just watched at Goodison Park.
