Nicolas Jackson put in one of his best performances in a Chelsea shirt against West Ham United on Saturday.
Nicolas Jackson scored twice and also grabbed an assist as Chelsea went on to win the game 3-0.
It did not take the striker long to score after he netted in just the fourth minute. That was then followed by another strike 14 minutes later before he set up Cole Palmer’s goal and the Blues’ third.
Former Chelsea striker Demba Ba lauded Jackson for the way he created space for his second goal.

Nicolas Jackson’s new London derby record
Down the years, Chelsea have had some top attackers who have all scored in London derbies.
Eden Hazard and Didier Drogba are just a couple of examples that come to mind, with the latter having tormented Arsenal during his playing days.
After his two goals against West Ham, though, it is Jackson who now holds one record in London derbies at Chelsea.
According to Opta, the 23-year-old’s brace in the first 18 minutes of Chelsea’s triumph over West Ham was the earliest a Blues player has scored twice in a London derby in the Premier League.
With the form that he is in right now, Enzo Maresca will not be dropping Jackson any time soon.
In the five Premier League games Jackson has played this season, he has scored four goals and provided two assists.
West Ham and Tottenham slayer
This was not the first time that Jackson netted against West Ham. Last term, the Senegal international also managed to score twice in Chelsea’s 5-0 win versus the Hammers at Stamford Bridge.
Since joining the Blues from Villarreal last summer, he really has proven to be effective in some of his side’s London derbies.
Tottenham Hotspur also fell victim to the Chelsea forward, who scored four goals across two games against them during the 2023/24 campaign, including a hat-trick at their ground.
