New Chelsea signing Pedro Neto was in attendance for the Blues’ final pre-season fixture of the summer against Inter Milan.
Pedro Neto was officially announced as a Chelsea player at half-time, with the winger joining from Wolverhampton Wanderers on a seven-year contract.
His arrival at Chelsea will delight the club, who have been looking for a winger all summer.
Chelsea’s ploy to sign Michael Olise did not go to plan, with the 22-year-old going on to join Bayern Munich in the end. But the Blues have still managed to land a wide man with Premier League experience after securing Neto’s signature.

Pedro Neto was at Stamford Bridge for Chelsea vs Inter Milan
During the half-time break of Chelsea’s 1-1 draw with Inter Milan at Stamford Bridge on Sunday, supporters got to see their new signing after Neto was brought onto the pitch.
Before that, journalist Nizaar Kinsella and others caught sight of Neto chatting to Chelsea co-sporting director Paul Winstanley in the executive box.
Winstanley and Chelsea’s other co-sporting director Laurence Stewart have been extremely busy during this transfer window. As well as signing Neto, they have also brought in the likes of Marc Guiu, Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall and Tosin Adarabioyo.
The club are now trying to offload players, with Trevoh Chalobah attracting interest from Crystal Palace.
Victor Osimhen could be Chelsea’s next attacking signing
Chelsea have strengthened their attack this summer by adding Neto and Guiu to Enzo Maresca‘s squad; however, they may not be finished yet.
In fact, it would be a bit of a surprise if Chelsea did not bring in another offensive player amid links with Napoli’s Victor Osimhen and Atletico Madrid’s Joao Felix.
It has been claimed that Osimhen is now Chelsea’s priority following the collapse of Samu Omorodion’s move to west London.
If they do not land the Nigerian, then Maresca could go with Guiu and Nicolas Jackson as his two striker options for the season. The former really impressed during pre-season, managing to score in Chelsea’s 3-0 win against Club America at the start of the month.
