Chelsea’s Premier League tie against Wolverhampton Wanderers over the weekend was a fiery one, with Marc Cucurella being one player who could not control his emotions at one point.
Noni Madueke, who went on to score a hat-trick for Chelsea at Molineux, had already riled up the home supporters with a now deleted social media post about the city of Wolverhampton before the game.
Nicolas Jackson then taunted the Molineux faithful after his opener, which only made matters worse.
Jackson later found himself in a confrontation with Matheus Cunha after the Brazilian cancelled out his goal, not helping things either.

Marc Cucurella loses cool in Wolves win
Jackson was not the only Chelsea player to get into a confrontation on the day. After a challenge on Moises Caicedo, Cucurella went to square up to Wolves’ Yerson Mosquera.
According to journalist Bobby Vincent, though, Wesley Fofana was quick to run over to Cucurella and shove his teammate out of the way to prevent things from needlessly escalating.
It looks like this could be a big season for Fofana, who missed the whole of the 2023/24 campaign because of injury.
The 23-year-old has now started Chelsea’s first two Premier League games of the season in central defence alongside Levi Colwill.
Wesley Fofana likely to be rested on Thursday
Chelsea’s next Premier League game is against Crystal Palace at Stamford Bridge on Sunday.
However, before then, the Blues travel to Switzerland to take on Servette in the second leg of their Conference League play-off tie.
Chelsea won the first leg 2-0, with Enzo Maresca resting Fofana, and you would now expect the Italian to do the same again on Thursday.
The Frenchman has just come back from a serious injury, while Maresca is not short of centre-half options.
As well as Fofana and Colwill, he also has Tosin Adarabioyo, Benoit Badiashile and Axel Disasi. Adarabioyo or Disasi could easily come in for the former Leicester City man and take up the right centre-back spot.
