One Chelsea star had a lot of Blues fans talking during their side’s 2-2 draw with Ipswich Town on Sunday.
Chelsea dominated the first 45 minutes of the game, yet found themselves 2-0 down after some very poor defending.
To makes things worse, Ipswich’s talisman and Chelsea target Liam Delap, who has scored 12 goals in the Premier League this season, started on the bench.
Chelsea, as well as Everton, want Delap, while Manchester United are also thought to be keen on the 22-year-old.

Marc Cucurella continues to be an attacking threat for Chelsea
Defensively, Enzo Maresca would not have liked what he saw from Marc Cucurella and the rest of Chelsea’s defence in their draw with Ipswich.
Cucurella really had a difficult time in the first half, but going forward the 26-year-old proved to be a threat as he has all season.
It was the defender who put pressure on Axel Tuanzebe in Ipswich’s penalty area and forced him to put the ball into the back of his own net.
Under Maresca, Cucurella has been transformed into an attacking weapon, though the £62m signing showed against Ipswich that he can still improve defensively.
And several Chelsea supporters are unlikely to disagree after what happened in the first half versus Kieran McKenna’s men.

Chelsea fans tear into Marc Cucurella
Cucurella has easily been one of Chelsea’s best players this season, even managing to chip in with a few goals for the Blues.
Brentford manager Thomas Frank recently discussed Cucurella, hailing him as a “very good player”.
However, Chelsea fans were not impressed with what they saw from the defender against Ipswich.
One Chelsea supporter took to X to make it clear that Cucurella is not worth his £60m price tag. They said: “The hope that one day Cucurella will be worth 60m is why people rate him. He isn’t good at anything as a fullback.”
Another does not believe that the left-back should be starting for the club. He posted: “You can’t have Cucurella and [Robert] Sanchez as your first team players. They are terrible.”
One Chelsea fan thought it was a very bad performance, posting: “Cucurella casually dropping a stinker out there.”
One other Chelsea supporter had some more constructive criticism for Cucurella, saying: “That’s gross from [Levi] Colwill being so lethargic defending that area. And Cucurella needs to get in position quicker. Don’t care if he’s inverting. So poor.”
All in all, it certainly was not Cucurella’s best display in a Chelsea shirt defensively. But he continues to get into the box and cause problems, while overall the former Brighton & Hove Albion man has been pretty consistent for Enzo Maresca‘s side this season.
