Chelsea and Manchester United are both interested in signing Ipswich Town striker Liam Delap this summer.
However, another Premier League club look set to join them in the race for the 22-year-old’s signature.
Chelsea have shortlisted Delap and Hugo Ekitike just to name a few forwards they are currently interested in.
But the former seems to be the No.9 the Blues really want in the next transfer window as he continues to be heavily linked with a move to Stamford Bridge.

Liam Delap on top of David Moyes’ striker list
Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca is a fan of Delap after working with him in Manchester City’s academy.
When Maresca spoke about Delap back in December, he described the Ipswich star as a “fantastic player”.
As well as Maresca, though, Everton boss David Moyes also appears to be an admirer of Delap.
According to The Sun, Moyes is ready to join Chelsea and United in the race for the England U21 international and has him on the top of his shortlist of striker targets.
Premier League interest in Delap comes as no surprise, with the former City player making a big impact in the English top flight this season.

| Assists | 2 |
The same Sun report also claims that Delap has a £30m release clause in his contract that becomes active if Ipswich get relegated, which would make him an even more attractive proposition.
And with Kieran McKenna’s men currently 18th in the Premier League table, 12 points from safety, they look unlikely to avoid the drop.

When Chelsea want to sign Liam Delap
By the time Everton decide to make a move for Delap, it could be too late. Chelsea look very keen to sign the forward as soon as possible.
It has been claimed that Chelsea want Delap in before the Club World Cup starts, meaning that they could snap him up in June.
For £30m, it will be a simple deal for the Blues to do, as long as they can actually convince Delap to pick them over their rivals.
