Chelsea love to do their transfer business early, and that’s still the case now as a number of players are set to join this summer after pre-agreements.

Chelsea have heavily pre-planned for Xabi Alonso’s debut campaign.

Adding considerable firepower to the frontline is Dutch international striker Emmanuel Emegha, whose transfer from sister club Strasbourg was structured to finalise this summer.

He is joined by wing-back Marco Palestra, arriving in a £43 million deal from Atalanta, alongside the versatile Valentin Barco from Strasbourg.

And completing this young core is explosive Portuguese winger Geovany Quenda and Kazakh prodigy Dastan Satpayev, who officially joins on his 18th birthday.

Dastan Satpayev is on his way to join up with Chelsea

Dastan Satpayev has departed for London, where he will join Chelsea’s pre-season training camp.

He is traveling with his mother, while his older brother, Darkhan, came to the airport to see him off.

The Blues secured the record-breaking £3.5 million package deal from Kairat Almaty, signing the forward to a long-term contract that formally activates on his 18th birthday in August.

Regarding his immediate future, Chelsea’s stance depends entirely on how he performs during pre-season, with Xabi Alonso wanting to assess the youngster.
