Reports recently have stated that there is some concern coming from the academy setup at Chelsea.
A source has said that there is a real worry for them that their pathway to the first team was not clear after the plethora of young talent they have brought in.
There is excitement at the club over the prospect of Estevao Willian and Kendry Paez joining up with the first team from next summer, however the process has forced out one of their top talents in Rio Ngumoha.
Last season saw a number of youngsters given their chance to impress under Mauricio Pochettino in the face of an injury crisis like no other at Stamford Bridge.
However, a number of young stars have been included in first team training sessions under Enzo Maresca, and this seems to be the case for Donnell McNeilly.

Last season saw the forward star for the U18s side in particular. Back in March he was sat on 23 goal contributions in just 19 games.
Chelsea keeping track of McNeilly
The Blues were reportedly taking notice of McNeilly off the back of this impressive run of form, with him seemingly remaining high up on their agenda when it comes to young players at the club.
A number of academy stars seem like they are going to be given their chance to impress Maresca in the Conference League, with Ben Chilwell one of those missing out on a place in the squad.
One of those is Kiano Dyer, who was named in the squad for the group stages of the competition after a number of key players were left out in order to manage their minutes in what is a very busy first half of the season.
