Reports have claimed that one Chelsea player is now set to stay with the club this month despite talk of a move elsewhere in January.
According to the Evening Standard, Andrey Santos will now remain at Stamford Bridge and be given his chance to impress in the second half of the season.
This campaign has been a bit of a non-starter for Santos, which has been a real shame as it was supposed to be the launching pad for his career in European football.

He was loaned to Nottingham Forest for the season, with there being a whole host of sides interested in a deal to bring him in.
However, before the window even shut it became clear that opportunities were going to become a premium for the Brazil international.
Even Chelsea though can’t have predicted just how little he would play. His only Premier League appearance this season lasted just minutes against Liverpool.
Because of this, it was clear the Blues were going to end his temporary time in the Midlands, and search for an alternative solution.
Santos set to stay at Chelsea
It has been claimed that they were in no rush to make a decision over his immediate future, with him actually focused on his international football at this time.
However, it seems a decision has been made for him to remain as part of the first team setup at Chelsea for the rest of this season at least.
This will see him get his first chance to impress Mauricio Pochettino in competitive action, after he was regularly used in the pre-season tour of the United States.
The Argentine commented saying he was impressed with what he saw at the time, perhaps opening the door for him to play a role at Stamford Bridge for the rest of this campaign.
