Crystal Palace attacker Michael Olise now has no mentions of Crystal Palace on his Instagram.

This is after weeks of reports that Chelsea are interested in signing him to bolster their attacking options for the upcoming season.

It has been widely claimed that even after the addition of Moises Caicedo for a British record fee, they are still far from done in the current transfer window.;

In fact, it has been claimed that they could sign as many as four more players still, with Romeo Lavia widely expected to bring more competition in the middle of the park.

The attack is a position that has been widely reported to be being targeted, and Olise has been mentioned numerous times as a potential option.

While it has been claimed that a price of £45m is more likely to be required as opposed to the aforementioned £35m release clause, talks have not gone away over a potential deal.

Up until now, Olise has kept his cards pretty close to his chest on what he is hoping to come from this transfer window. Manchester City have also been credited with interest in the winger.

However, the biggest sign that he is hoping to move from Selhurst Park may have emerged as his Instagram now has no mentions of his current side.

It has been claimed in the last 24 hours that the Blues have moved closer to completing a deal for the Frenchman to bolster their options in attack.

The need to bring one in has been intensified at the end of pre-season following the diagnosis for Christopher Nkunku’s injury. He is set to miss the majority of 2023.
