Chelsea were not in action in the Champions League on Tuesday night after failing to qualify for the competition, but there would have been games that interested the club.
A few players whom Chelsea are thought to have on their radar were on show, including Aston Villa’s Jhon Duran and Sporting Lisbon’s Viktor Gyokeres, for example.
It has been claimed that Chelsea have already watched Gyokeres in the Champions League this season.
Borussia Dortmund winger Jamie Gittens is another player who has also been linked with a move to Stamford Bridge.

Chelsea target Jamie Gittens breaks Champions League record
Dortmund lost 5-2 against Real Madrid last night, but it is a game that Gittens will never forget.
The 20-year-old managed to score against the European champions, putting Dortmund 2-0 up before their capitulation.
By netting on the night, though, Gittens became the youngest British player to score against Real Madrid in a Champions League game, breaking Alan Smith’s record.
It has been reported that Dortmund value Gittens at £83m amid interest from Chelsea and other clubs.
Jamie Gittens proving himself in the Champions League
The Champions League is where Chelsea want to be next season, and Gittens is showing that he could help the Blues in that competition if they manage to qualify for it.
Gittens has been in superb form in the Champions League this term. In the three appearances that the England U21 international has made so far, he has scored three goals.
According to WhoScored, Gittens is currently completing two dribbles per game in Europe’s elite competition, which is the second-highest average in Dortmund’s squad.
£83m is a lot of money, though, especially for a player whom Chelsea are not crying out for.
Enzo Maresca already has wide options and will be getting another next summer when Estevao Willian officially joins Chelsea from Palmeiras. Someone will have to leave Stamford Bridge in order for Gittens to arrive.
