Kendry Paez’s agent Manuel Sierra has suggested that his client could win the Ballon d’Or at Chelsea one day.
Chelsea signed Kendry Paez from Independiente del Valle back in June, but he will not be able to link up with the Blues until he turns 18.
When Paez does, though, Sierra is expecting big things from the 16-year-old, tipping him to win the Ballon d’Or in the future in an interview with AS.
It is a big shout, but the young Ecuadorian is obviously a player with a lot of potential and talent.

Sierra thinks Paez has a chance of claiming the Ballon d’Or one day.
On his client, he said: “I don’t know if we are going to have such a beastly talent in my life again like Kendry Paez.
“Today he is still at 50% of his chances, 60% of his chances. He is a boy who, if he learns to be professional, learns to live in professionalism, not professionalism, but in professionalism, he is a guy who can be, for me, if not Ballon d’Or, be very close to being Ballon d’Or in the next, six, seven or eight years.
“I think he can be one of the greats in the world. He has it all. He is a guy who is super prepared for success.”
Kendry Paez winning Ballon d’Or would be great achievement for Chelsea
Over the last 20 years, Chelsea have accomplished so much, including winning the Champions League twice.
However, in the club’s history, despite all of the incredible footballers who have played at Stamford Bridge, they are yet to produce a Ballon d’Or winner.
It is why it would be great if Paez can fulfil his potential and win that honour. However, the midfielder has a very long way to go before he can even be mentioned in the conversation.
Mauricio Pochettino has also had very high praise for Paez, hailing him as a “great talent”.
Chelsea fans will now be desperate to see Paez reach his peak in west London. If he does, then that is one incredible player the club could have on their hands.
