There’s certainly been a lot of entertainment in Chelsea games so far this season.

In 10 Premier League matches this campaign involving Chelsea, there’s been a total of 32 goals.

The Blues attack is free-scoring, netting 20 league goals this season, with several individuals impressing in front of goal. Ruud van Nistelrooy complimented Chelsea’s attacking firepower before their recent 1-1 draw versus Manchester United at Old Trafford.

However, Enzo Maresca’s side still need to tighten up defensively, leaking 12 goals in 10 league matches.

Ally McCoist loves watching Cole Palmer for Chelsea

Ally McCoist has waxed lyrical about the brilliance of Chelsea’s Cole Palmer on a football pitch.

When discussing Chelsea star Palmer, McCoist told talkSPORT (9:08am, 5 November): “He is so easy on the eye. I mean, his pass against Newcastle. I went slightly over the top. I said it was the pass of the decade, but when he played it inside [Tino] Livramento. He is one of these players, he gets people up off their seat. He is just a great watch.”

Palmer has seven goals and five assists in 10 league starts this season. Yet again, the left-footed attacker looks like once of the best players in the Premier League division.

Gary Neville was mesmerised by a piece of skill from Palmer in Chelsea’s draw with Man United, which highlighted the confidence he’s playing with right now.

Cole Palmer quiet agains the ‘big six’ this season

If there’s one criticism of Chelsea superstar Palmer right now, it’s that he’s yet to shine in the biggest matches so far this season. The Englishman has proven already for club and country he can deliver on the biggest occasions, but he’s waiting to impact a big fixture in this 2024/25 campaign.

Here is a look at Palmer’s record in the Premier League so far this season:
