Chelsea travel to Manchester United on Sunday in search of their first Premier League win at Old Trafford since 2013.

Enzo Maresca has made a positive start as Chelsea manager, winning nine of his opening 15 games across all competitions. The Blues face Man United and Arsenal in their next two league matches before this month’s international break, though.

Chelsea’s predicted XI against Man United does include wholesale changes from the midweek loss to Newcastle United in the Carabao Cup.

As for Man United, they’re working under Ruud van Nistelrooy because he’s the interim manager until Ruben Amorim officially takes charge later in November.

Ruud van Nistelrooy extremely wary of Chelsea attack

Man United interim Van Nistelrooy has paid credit to upcoming opponents Chelsea. In particular, he’s concerned about the Blues firepower going forward, which could determine the result.

Van Nistelrooy said via Man United’s official website: “Yeah, it’s going to be a big match, a tough one. Chelsea playing really well at the moment. Lots of attacking power players who can decide the game, scoring lots of goals, playing very well on the ball. So, we’re going to have to be at our very best, you know, to get a result, to get a good game.

“It’s obviously what we want. We want to try and win it. But we also respect the opponent, know their qualities, and [what] we have to do. Yeah, we have to really be together and strong, you know, to stop them. And from there, see what we can do, you know, to win the game.”

Martin Keown thinks Chelsea’s Nicolas Jackson could torment Man United because of his pace and movement in behind. In fairness, the striker’s enjoying an excellent second season at Stamford Bridge.

Chelsea forward line is firing this season

In nine Premier League games this campaign, Chelsea have already netted 19 times. It makes them the second highest scorers in the division behind current leaders Manchester City.

Here is a look at the Blues top scorers in the league this season:

It’s a big bonus for Chelsea that they’ve got both Jackson and Cole Palmer in such fantastic goalscoring form in the opening months of the season. Incidentally, Micah Richards has spotted a “brilliant” chemistry between Jackson and Palmer.
