Jadon Sancho has reportedly left Old Trafford and completed a move to Chelsea on deadline day, which has angered many Manchester United supporters for one main reason.
Blues fans are still waiting for official confirmation from the club, but there’s widespread speculation that Jadon Sancho has made the move to Stamford Bridge on a season-long loan.
It’s been reported by journalist Fabrizio Romano on X that Sancho’s transfer includes an obligation to buy clause worth around £25m.
Interestingly, journalist David Ornstein reports via X that Chelsea are planning to predominantly use Sancho as a left-winger. That could be bad news for Blues star Mykhailo Mudryk.

Manchester United fans react to Jadon Sancho move
Many Man United supporters on social media are not happy with Sancho’s switch to Chelsea. In particular, they’re angry that the Englishman’s obligation to buy is worth just £25m.
Here are some United fans discussing the Sancho deal:
One fan said: “Absolutely shocked at the Sancho final fee! £20m-£25m?! That’s a huge loss and a disaster!”
Another wrote: “We’ve been completely mugged off, £25m for Sancho, we’ve lost out in every which way, now it’s nailed on that he’s does a wordlie at Chelsea.”
A third user posted: “Too low man, £30m should’ve been the minimum. Was expecting more like £40m.”
One supporter claimed: “As much as Sancho needed to go, if the reported fee of 25m is true, that’s absolutely criminal. I’d be amazed if that’s the truth and he had no other suitors for even £30m.”
Another said: “£20-25m obligation for Sancho is awful.”
