Ben Chilwell says Chelsea’s Mykhailo Mudryk is probably the quickest footballer he’s ever seen.

Mykhailo Mudryk, who’s still only 22, is an exciting attacker with so much talent.

For certain, the left-winger’s blistering pace is the greatest tool at his disposal.

If the Chelsea forward can tighten up his decision-making, he’ll be a special individual who will cause nightmares for opposition defenders.

Blues left-back Ben Chilwell, 26, has declared his teammate as the fastest he’s ever seen in the sport.

“He’s (Mudryk) electric. He’s probably the quickest guy I’ve ever seen in football,” Chilwell said via Chelsea’s Instagram account.

TEAMtalk recently claimed that Mudryk’s closest people believe he’s a ‘sleeping superstar’ who will soon burst into life.

He’s had a difficult start at Stamford Bridge since arriving in January for £89million (Sky Sports), but we’re beginning to see why the club invested so much in him.

There were some eye-catching performances from the winger for Chelsea before the international break, including the 2-0 win against Fulham where he scored his first goal for the club.

Mudryk actually broke a second goalscoring duck last night, this time netting his first ever goal for Ukraine’s senior team. His phenomenal strike from outside the box helped Ukraine secure a 3-1 win over Malta yesterday in a European Championship qualifier.

We’re expecting to see him with a real spring in his step when he now returns to Cobham.
