Ben Foster has given a very one-sided score prediction ahead of Chelsea against Manchester City this weekend.

Chelsea host Man City on Sunday afternoon in the Premier League, which is their final game before this month’s international break.

For Blues head coach Mauricio Pochettino, he would love for his side to keep climbing the league table after moving into the top half this week. But they’re about to run into Pep Guardiola’s in-form side, who sit top right now.

The Chelsea Chronicle has predicted the starting Blues line-up to face Man City, which includes two changes from Monday night’s 4-1 win against Tottenham.

Prediction time

Ben Foster has predicted a convincing win for Man City on their visit to Stamford Bridge on Sunday.

“I’m going to go for a comfortable Man City win. I’m saying this could be a 4-0. This will be men against boys,” Foster told the That’s Football YouTube channel.

Elsewhere, speaking on The Overlap this week, Gary Neville predicted Chelsea to hold Man City to a draw.

Man City have won the previous six consecutive matches against Chelsea in the past couple of years, but the patten this year is that the latter do a lot better against strong opponents. For example, the Blues are unbeaten in the league this season against Spurs, Arsenal and Liverpool.

Chelsea and Manchester City goals

It’s pretty self-explanatory that this Man City side will be shooting for the stars again this year.

Guardiola’s side are attempting to win England’s top division for the fourth consecutive campaign, which would be a first in this country if they achieve it. This is fresh off winning a famous treble last season.

As for Chelsea, this campaign is a bit of an unknown during Pochettino’s first year in the manager’s dugout.

With the talent in this squad, we feel they should be aiming for a European finish in the league as a bare minimum. On top of that, a piece of domestic silverware could mark a respectable campaign. Chelsea host Newcastle United next month in the Carabao Cup quarter-final.
