Chelsea have provided a fitness update on Christopher Nkunku ahead of the weekend.
Christopher Nkunku, 26, is yet to make his competitive debut for Chelsea after siting out the opening months of this season with a knee problem.
Unfortunately, it looks like the French attacker will still have to wait a little while longer.
The Blues have provided a full injury update on Friday prior to Sunday afternoon’s Premier League fixture at home to Brighton.

Chelsea injury update
Chelsea introduced the method this season of announcing injured players moments before Mauricio Pochettino’s weekly press conference.
Nkunku is yet again included on the list via the club’s official website, so is set to miss the Brighton fixture.
The club wrote on Nkunku: “Progressing with the reconditioning phase of his rehabilitation.”
In addition, Romeo Lavia, Malo Gusto, Trevoh Chalobah, Ben Chilwell, Carney Chukwuemka and Wesley Fofana are still out.
Christopher Nkunku out injured against Brighton
We’ll hope to hear some clearer detail from Pochettino on a possible return date for Nkunku, but for now it’s another frustration as he misses out.
Sky Sports pictured the 24-year-old training with his teammates on Friday, so we’re hoping he’s close to a return.
TEAMtalk recently claimed that there’s a real excitement within Cobham for Nkunku to play for Chelsea. We can definitely feel that from the fanbase, too!
He proved at RB Leipzig in Germany that he can be a serious goal threat, so his introduction could be huge to the success of Pochettino’s team.
In fairness, Chelsea go into the Brighton game as a team that’s not been bad recently at scoring. However, the tables have turned because now the defence really needs to tighten up and improve.
