Chelsea winger Mykhailo Mudryk started for Ukraine in their game against the Czech Republic on Tuesday.

Mykhailo Mudryk was unable to prevent his country from losing, with the Czech Republic managing to beat Ukraine 3-2.

However, the 23-year-old put in a really good performance on the night. According to Sofascore, Mudryk made four key passes and completed four dribbles.

Chelsea fans have now been speaking about him following that bright display. It has been claimed that Mudryk could leave Chelsea in January.

Chelsea fans react to Mykhailo Mudryk’s performance against the Czech Republic

Mudryk has not been able to make much of an impact during this early part of the season for Chelsea.

The Ukrainian has made two appearances in the Premier League for Chelsea so far, failing to score or assist.

However, he proved to be a real threat for his country last night, and that did not go unnoticed.

One Chelsea fan wrote on X: “Who’s watching Mudryk? He’s unplayable so far tonight.”

Another wrote: “Mudryk has actually been very good this night. His ball retention has been good, not rushing into the opposition.”

And finally, one Chelsea fan posted: “Mudryk is having a sensational game tonight.”

Amid his struggles at Chelsea, Scott Minto thinks Mudryk would be doing better at Arsenal. The Ukraine international was a key target for the Gunners before his move to Chelsea in 2023.

Mykhailo Mudryk needs to replicate Ukraine form at Chelsea

You suspect that Mudryk is not going to get too many opportunities at Chelsea this season. If the former Shakhtar Donetsk man fails to deliver, then he is going to find himself out of the team, that is if he can even get in it.

Enzo Maresca is spoilt for choice in attack right now. Chelsea completed the signing of Jadon Sancho from Manchester United on deadline day, and the 24-year-old is a left winger just like Mudryk.

Sancho has impressed in training over this international break, so the wide man could start for the Blues when they take on Bournemouth this weekend.

Another summer signing, Pedro Neto, can also play on the left. So Mudryk has a lot of competition this season.
